Philippians 3:12-14 - I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.
Boy, do I not have this thing all together! That spirit of lethargy doesn't play fair! I was all ready to give up already, and it's only my second day on this journey. But because Christ has reached out for me from glory and helps me to keep going, no matter what, I was able to get out of bed, drag on the workout gear, and put in my 20 minutes with Leslie Sansone.
I almost gave up midway through, but again, I just kept putting one foot in front of the other and pushed toward that goal. I'm not turning back!
